La Kooki Ten Foot Temp 2018

Fruit from the Ferguson Valley.  If you haven’t clocked on to the Ferguson Valley yet (located in the Geographe Wine Region: it’s got good elevation, great views, and it excels in interesting mediterranean grape varieties, and riesling) it’s time to sort that right out.  The Ferguson Valley is totally exciting and is home to a number of very interesting vineyards producing fabulous wines.

Spicy nose, red licorice, vanilla bean, juicy, supple, lithe, yum. I mean, who could ask for anything more? I love this. Strawberry, raspberry, black pepper, red apple skin, blood plum, blackberry, mulberry… this has fine but gravelly tannins, good length and purely delicious. Foot stomped by ten family feet.

106 cases. 97% Ferguson Valley, 3% Margaret River.  97% Tempranillo, 3% Cabernet Sauvignon. 6 days on skins (plunged and massaged by ‘ten family feet’), pressed to tank, racked to oak, filtered then bottled.  Vegan friendly.
